My Journey

Bikes saved my life; now I’m giving back to them!  No, seriously! After being seriously injured by a roadside bomb while serving in Iraq, riding bikes brought me back into the world. They helped me find the tools to rediscover life.  Bikes helped me recover physically, build back my health, and learn how to adapt to my injuries and still ride.  Bikes brought me a connection, a tribe, and a family.  Bikes gave me a goal and a purpose.

I’ve ridden and raced my bike all over the world, ridden with Presidents, Medal of Honor Recipients, Tour de France winners, NBA All Stars, and, more importantly, some of the coolest people on the planet. In my travels, I’ve had to learn to wrench creatively to keep on the trails.  But as an engineer in my former life, I found I had a passion for the critical problem solving and attention to detail that comes with working on bikes.  Unlike so many jobs in our lives, finishing a quality repair on a bike brings a sense of closure, and seeing the smiles it brings to their riders when they get a clean, shiny, smooth ride back from a service – well, that fills my cup.

I run this shop because I love it, not because I need it. When you bring your bike to me for repairs, you join my tribe. I treat every bike like my own… and every service like it's out of my pocket. As a cyclist, you deserve that!
